Zipari

Zipari is a technology company that develops and supplies an array of products for health insurance carriers. Its primary goal is to disrupt the health insurance industry by focusing on the consumer experience. Its technology offerings provide a streamlined member experience and enable Zipari customers (insurers) to grow their revenues.

My Role: Senior iOS Engineer

As a Senior iOS Engineer, I implement and architect applications for the iOS platform using the Swift programming language exclusively. I utilize a wide array of tooling and libraries to ensure quality deliveries for all of Zipari’s clients, internal and external.

A large portion of my contributions have focused on the development of a multi-tenant application environment targeting our internal APIs. These APIs connect to external environments hosted by insurers to enable a scalable, uniform and branded Member Portal experience for our clients’ customers. Within the Member Portal, customers may access information about their coverage, download ID cards, review claims and even find a doctor.

Horizon Blue

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey’s Horizon Blue app (pictured at right) is powered by Zipari technology. In addition to my application work on the multi-tenant product, I’ve made individual contributions to this app as part of an ongoing client engagement at Zipari. The work I’ve done touches countless features across the app including video telemedicine and live chat.
